Health & Fitness

Elective: for Grades 10-12

Health and Fitness is designed to build stamina, raise fitness levels, and increase student understanding of human physiology through application. Activities include a full schedule of “Insanity” for 2 months duration, one hundred and four hundred meter runs, one mile, two mile, and three mile runs, and explosive exercises such as stairs and suicides, and full gym routine, focused on proper technique. The theory aspect of the course involves unites on nutrition and human physiology/anatomy.
